EligibilityÌý

You mustÌýmeetÌýallÌýthe following criteria:Ìý

  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Have applied for and be receiving the maximum government aid you’reÌýeligibleÌýforÌýIndigenous students:ÌýBand Council funding is accepted
  • Be registered full-time in a degree program.Ìý Exceptions are granted when students are ‘deemed full-time’,Ìýfor example, due to a documented disability requiring academic accommodation as confirmed byÌý Student Accessibility & Achievement
  • Be in satisfactory academic standing
  • International Students:ÌýMustÌýmeet requirements for working on campus and have a Social Insurance Number

Who is NOT eligibleÌý

  • Special, Visiting, Qualifying, Non-thesis extension (less than 12 credits), Continuing Education, Diploma, Certificate, and Private Program students (i.e. Master of Management, Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Policy)Ìý
  • International studentsÌýin their first 12 months of studyÌýwho have provided proof of financial capacity to immigration authorities to receive their study permit areÌýgenerally not eligible.ÌýÌýException:Ìýnewly admittedÌýinternationalÌýundergraduate students who have been offered an Entrance Bursary awarded by Scholarships and Student AidÌýcan applyÌý
  • Students who haveÌýcompletedÌýtheirÌýcourses but have not yet graduatedÌý
