Established to recognize excellence and commitment to teaching and its importance to the academic experience of students at ɬÀï·¬.

The Presidents’ Prize is traditionally awarded annually at Fall Convocation in each of the following categories: Course Lecturer, Faculty Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor. 

Each award brings with it a $5,000 monetary award to be used at the discretion of the recipients.  

Eligibility 

  • Ranked academic staff who carry a full-time teaching load as defined by their Faculty, OR 
  • Course Lecturers who have been teaching at ɬÀï·¬ for a minimum of three years and a total of 12 credits.  
  • Candidates must have taught in the academic year for which the award is given. 
  • Candidates from any Faculty or School at ɬÀï·¬ are eligible.
