Tareq Hardan

Tareq Hardan is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Northern British Columbia, based in Fort St. John. His research and teaching approach social work as a relational, community-engaged practice oriented toward healing, justice, and social transformation. His scholarship spans Northern and settler-colonial contexts in Canada and Palestine and employs participatory and arts-based methodologies grounded in lived experience. ()

(1) Palestine Trauma Project; (2) The ABC Framework for Building Relationships with Indigenous Communities in the North; (3) Restoring Relationships in the Classroom: A Culturally Responsive approach to Teaching and Learning. (4) Activating Social Capital: Psychosocial Challenges and Strength of Equity-Deserving College students in Nova Scotia. (5) Mobile Work and Family Wellbeing.
