A strong showing in this year鈥檚 FRQS competition. The DOM achieved an 85% success rate, with 11 of 13 applicants funded.
Across Quebec, 52% of career awards were funded (137/262). The DOM accounted for 8% of these awards, a strong contribution for a single department within one of 10 universities funded. Notably, one of just four Chercheur(e) de m茅rite career awards across Qu茅bec went to Dr. Donald Vinh from our Division of Infectious Diseases.
DOM members also received 20% of the Chercheur(e) clinicien(ne) senior career awards provincially (3 of 15). These results reflect the strength of our clinician-scientists and the support behind them.
