The Office of Indigenous Initiatives (OII) is the central hub for Indigenous strategies and initiatives at ɬÀï·¬. It includes both the Indigenous Initiatives and First Peoples' House teams.

As the institutional steward of ɬÀ﷬’s vision for Indigeneity, the Office of Indigenous Initiatives plays a multi-layered role by working to embed Indigeneity in all facets of university life. It also works to strengthenÌýawareness and alignment of various Indigenous initiatives across the university, support Indigenous student and faculty success, and support the implementation of ɬÀï·¬'s 52 Calls to Action on IndigenousÌýStudies and Indigenous Education.Ìý

First Peoples' House

The First Peoples' House (FPH) at ɬÀï·¬ is a central hub for Indigenous student supportÌýby providing a series of academic, community,Ìýand cultural-based support. The FPH offers services including dedicated study space, cultural programming and events, and residence rooms.Ìý
