Faculty of Science Peer Mentoring Program

Formerly the Tomlinson Engagement Award for Mentoring (TEAM)

The Peer Mentoring ProgramÌýhelps makeÌýlarge 100- and 200-level Science classes feel more personalÌýand supportive by connectingÌýstudents with peer mentors. Typically, these mentors are experienced upper-year students who have taken the course beforeÌýand are selected by instructors to help newer students learn and be engaged.  Peer mentors receive a $400 award recognizing excellence in teaching,ÌýlearningÌýand mentorship.

Students will receive either the Undergraduate Award or the Undergraduate Award, each named in honour of a distinguished scholar and educator.
