The Mental Health Continuum model is a useful self-assessment tool originally developed by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and subsequently adopted by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the Resident Doctors of Canada (RDoC).

This model can help you gage where you are at on the spectrum of mental health at a particular time period, as mental health is not static. The categories range from healthy to ill, and the model includes actions to take at each phase of the continuum.
