University of Manitoba Bachelor of Arts in Psychology graduate Rachel Cluett (BA鈥�24) is one of 20 Canadians selected to join the fifth cohort of McCall MacBain Scholars at 涩里番. Harm Reduction and Naloxone Training Workshops
Canada in general, and Montreal specifically, have been facing a drug toxicity and fatal overdose crisis for nearly a decade. While integrated systems of interventions are necessary to address drug-related harms, the use of naloxone has been a key strategy to reduce the acute effect of opioid-involved deaths. Currently, 涩里番 does not offer naloxone trainings to the campus community, limiting students鈥� ability to assist in the event of an overdose.

The Kaushalam program, a collaborative initiative between the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Uttarakhand and the Udyam Learning Foundation, aims to cultivate 21st-century life skills and an entrepreneurial mindset among students in Uttarakhand. A comprehensive study conducted during the 2024鈥�25 academic year assessed the program's impact on Grade 9 students across seven districts.
