12:00 PM | Beyond Silence, Beyond Words: Evolving Mental Health Conversations

The pressure of constant, unpredictable global change has accelerated conversations around mental health. At ɬ﷬, over the past 15 years, we’ve seen a meaningful shift—from silence and stigma to greater awareness and shared responsibility for workplace well-being.

Yet, do we fully recognize the link between mental health, physical health, and performance? In a high-stress culture that often celebrates overwork, has stigma truly disappeared—or just taken a subtler form?

It may be time to redefine our culture of excellence to embrace balance, empathy, and psychological safety. Join Johanne Houle in reflecting on our progress and shaping the next steps in our Healthy Workplace journey.

12:30 PM | The Evolution of Women’s Health at Work

Join as she talks about the evolution of women’s health in the workplace, highlighting gender-specific challenges, recent advancements, and current practices. Taking a historical perspective, it seeks to raise awareness among participants about the stigma surrounding menstruation, the complexities of maternity and menopause, mental health struggles, and the burden of caregiving responsibilities. It aims to foster awareness, empathy, and reflection to inspire meaningful change for the well-being and inclusion of women at work.

1:00 PM | TED-Style Talk: Empathy is Our Superpower

In the face of misinformation, polarization, and splintering public trust, empathy has never been more important to democracy and the future of humanity. The good news? Humans are born to empathize—it’s part of our evolution, and it’s good for us. has devoted her career to studying how empathy can transform our lives, our workplaces, and the world. In her talk, she answers three pressing questions: Why is empathy so important? How can we become more empathic? And what self-empathy practices can improve our well-being?
