We sat down with Roger and Yvan to reflect on their journeys at ɬ﷬- the paths that brought them here, some of the work that defined their careers and what lies ahead.

To help prevent the spread of rabies among raccoons, a “capture‑vaccinate‑release” operation is underway in Montérégie this month to curb cases in the region and prevent their spread toward Montreal.

Michael Libman, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and a member of the Centre for Tropical Diseases at ɬ﷬. He can speak to the risk of rabies transmission to humans, what to do in case of bites or contact with wildlife and the importance of such vaccination campaigns in reducing public health risks.
