Global comparisons of wellbeing increasingly rely on survey questions that ask respondents to evaluate their lives, most commonly in the form of 鈥渓ife satisfaction鈥 and 鈥淐antril ladder鈥 items. These measures underpin international rankings such as the World Happiness Report and inform policy initiatives worldwide, yet their comparability has not been established with contemporary global data.

Title:听Viscosity solution to complex Hessian quotient equation.

Abstract:听We prove the existence of viscosity solutions to complex Hessian equations on compact Hermitian manifolds, assuming the existence of a strict subsolution in the viscosity sense. The results cover the complex Hessian quotient equations. This generalized our previous results where the equation needs to satisfy a determinant domination condition. This is a joint work with Prof. Jingrui Cheng.
