Welcome to the New Student Buddy Program, designed for all new students at ɬÀï·¬! Whether you're an undergraduate or graduate student, arriving from Canada or elsewhere in the world, this program pairs you with a friendly and experienced ɬÀï·¬ student who will help you navigate your first semester with confidence and success.
This program is proudly offered by CL&E, in collaboration with International Student Services.
New Students (Mentees)
- Get matched with a trained upper-year mentor
- Receive valuable advice on navigating university life, accessing campus resources, adapting to new cultures/languages, maintaining well-being, and living in Montreal
- Join our mentorship mixer to network with students from other mentorship programs
Returning Students (Mentors)
- Receive mentor training to help you build a positive relationship with your mentee
- Earn recognition on your ɬÀï·¬ Co-Curricular Record for your role as a mentor
- Share valuable advice on navigating university life, accessing campus resources, adapting to new cultures/languages, maintaining well-being, and living in Montreal
